Erica Qualls

Hotel Manager, Marriott Marquis Hotel

Erica Qualls is currently Hotel Manager for the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. Qualls is responsible for a $100 million dollar a year hotel operation. The Atlanta Marriott Marquis is Marriott International’s third largest hotel with 1675 hotel rooms and over 120,000 square feet of meeting and convention space.

In April 1993, Qualls started her career with Marriott International. She has held key positions in various disciplines. Prior to her current appointment, Qualls was Director Human Resources, Marriott Marquis, and General Manager for a Marriott hotel in Sunnyvale, California.

An active member in her community, Qualls is involved in national and local community organizations including Children’s Miracle Network, Hands on Atlanta, United Negro College Fund and United Way. She serves as Secretary, Board of Directors, Atlanta Business League, and Chairperson for Marriott’s Atlanta Market Diversity Council. Through Erica’s leadership, the Atlanta Marriott Marquis was awarded the A+ Award Summa Cum Laude for Partnership with Atlanta Public Schools.

On a personal note, Erica has been married to David Bascoe for nineteen incredible years and is the proud mother of four.
